During the February session of the Bolesławiec City Council, councillors adopted a resolution “on establishing the maximum rates of fees paid by property owners for the collection of municipal waste, emptying cesspools and transporting liquid waste from properties within the city of Bolesławiec”.
By adopting this legal act, the councillors set the maximum rates for waste collection. They amount to PLN 140/m³ net plus VAT. However, since all Bolesławiec residents have been included in the selective waste collection and collection system and have the relevant contracts, the maximum rate resulting from the aforementioned resolution is PLN 66.67/m³ net plus VAT.
Establishing the maximum rates of fees is necessary to calculate the charges incurred by people who evade the obligation to conclude the relevant contracts, and it is precisely them who will be subject to the rate of PLN 140/m³ net plus VAT.
