Bolesławiec fans who decided to attend Saturday’s match certainly had no reason to complain about a lack of excitement. In the 4th minute of the match, a sudden burst of joy erupted at the stadium. After a precise pass from Łukasz Rudyk, Paweł Rissmann confidently beat the Gawin goalkeeper. After conceding the goal, the visitors imposed their style of play. They attacked Przykłota’s goal very frequently. However, most of their shots were inaccurate, while the accurate ones did not surprise the BKS goalkeeper.

In the 33rd minute, Bolesławiec had a chance to extend their lead. Near the edge of Gawin’s penalty area, BKS players took two powerful shots. While blocking one of them, a visiting player probably touched the ball with his hand. The referee did not spot the foul, which provoked protests from the Bolesławiec supporters in the stands and the players themselves.

At the beginning of the second half, in the 48th minute, Piotr Halkowicz had a good opportunity to score for BKS. Unfortunately, his shot went past the right post of the visitors’ goal. A few minutes later, Łukasz Rudyk lost the ball in Gawin’s penalty area. In the 57th minute, BKS were very lucky. A shot by Gawin’s striker hit the post and fell into Przykłota’s hands. A minute later, Bolesławiec had another chance. With a powerful shot, Tomasz Jasiński forced the visiting goalkeeper into action. He saved himself by deflecting the ball for a corner. However, the visitors had more shooting opportunities. BKS defended effectively until the 66th minute. That was when Daniel Giza equalized for Gawin. Just 8 minutes later, after a cross was flicked on, Giza scored his team’s second goal. From that moment, Gawin led 2–1. In the closing stages, the visitors scored a third goal, but the referee disallowed it because a BKS player had been fouled during the move. Ultimately, BKS Bolesławiec lost 1–2 to Gawin Królewska Wola.

BKS played this match with a weakened squad. Robert Nitarski, Józef Pietrzak, Radosław Pietkiewicz and Paweł Fulczyński were absent. These players were unable to take part in the match because competitions were being held at the same time in which the footballers had to represent the companies employing them. The BKS authorities sought to have the match against Gawin postponed to another date, but the club from Królewska Wola did not agree.
