The County Primary School Basketball Championships are behind us. On Wednesday, December 14, the final matches of the competition were played. In the girls’ category, the team from Nowogrodziec proved to be the best, playing in the following lineup: Marcelina Wiącek, Patrycja Panikowska, Paulina Bujak, Klaudia Kotulska, Klaudia Grabasz, Alicja Chmielowiec, Natalia Kamińska, Martyna Kowalska, Kamila Nazim, Natalia Moczydlak, Agata Depka and Gabriela Moczydlak. The team’s coach is Wojciech Jasiński. The basketball players from SP No. 1 in Bolesławiec came second, while the representatives of SP in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki came third.
In the boys’ category, the county championship was won by the players from SP No. 1, who competed in the following lineup: Mateusz Giergielewicz, Dawid Strojek, Kamil Tyndyk, Sebastian Wąsik, Norbert Małecki, Kacper Kozłowski, Mateusz Mikołajewski, Oskar Śliwiński, Nikodem Borecki, Arkadiusz Leszczyński, Maciej Leszczyński and Michał Dołgan. The team’s coach is Jarosław Leszczyński. The team from Kruszyn took second place, while the representation of SP in Raciborowice came third.
Both championship teams qualified for the zonal competition. The tournament was organized by the Inter-School Sports Centre, operating within the structures of the County Centre for Education and Staff Training.
