Christmas is a time of reconciliation and closeness between people—and this was also the case during another Evening of Tradition, held on Sunday, 11 December, in Łaziska near Bolesławiec. The event began with arts and crafts, music and culinary workshops. Participants made Christmas tree decorations, shaped cookies and prepared pierogi. There was also communal carol singing.

The evening was enhanced by a nativity play performed by children from Łaziska and artistic performances. The following performed on stage: Joanna Nawrocka, Kornelia Szpila and Anita Karpiak, soloist Klaudia Kotwica and a group consisting of: Justyna Scholz, Anna Szemberska, Marcelina Walęga and Natalia El Hassanieh.

The event was organized by councillor Grażyna Łucka, village head Joanna Łucka, the Łaziska Rural Housewives’ Association and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec with its registered office in Kruszyn.
