The incident occurred during the night of November 26. Around 5:00 a.m., a municipal police officer monitoring surveillance cameras noticed a man walking along Garncarska Street. Near the tax office, an 18-year-old accompanied by a group of people attacked a 27-year-old resident of the Lwówek Śląski municipality. The attacker struck the 27-year-old in the face several times with his fist. The victim was then dragged into a nearby park and beaten.
Municipal police officers and a police officer immediately went to the scene. The officers arrested two aggressors, aged 16 and 18. Both were drunk.
Later, the police arrested the three remaining perpetrators of the beating, aged 18, 20 and 21. All five are residents of Bolesławiec. One of the attackers had already been in trouble with the law.
The victim, who suffered a head injury, was taken to hospital. We have learned that he has already been discharged and returned home.
The minor will answer for his actions before the family court. The other men were placed under police supervision. They face up to three years in prison.
