Three road incidents occurred on Wednesday, 23 November. After 7:00 a.m. in Wilczy Las, near a fuel station, a passenger car skidded and collided with a truck. The woman driving the Skoda was lucky. She suffered minor injuries, while her car was completely destroyed. According to the police’s preliminary findings, the incident was caused by driving too fast for the road conditions. The road surface was very slippery.
The slippery surface may also have caused the second road incident. Before 10:00 a.m., near Gromadka (on the road from Wierzbowa), an Opel Vectra left the road and overturned. The driver was taken to hospital. The third road incident occurred in Bolesławiec at the intersection of Śluzowa and Lubańska streets. Two passenger cars collided there. Fortunately, no one suffered serious injuries. The collision was caused by failure to yield the right of way. The driver who failed to yield was fined PLN 300.
