BKS Bobrzanie’s footballers finished the autumn round with a convincing victory. On Saturday (5 November), our team defeated Pagaz Krzeszów 3–0. After the autumn round, the Bolesławiec side are second in the Jelenia Góra regional league table. Saturday’s match was a one-sided affair. Already in the 1st minute, Łukasz Filipiak hit the post. The visiting team only occasionally threatened the BKS goal. The match was opened in the 10th minute by a goal from Paweł Żmudziński, who converted Łukasz Filipiak’s pass and, from close range, gave the goalkeeper from Krzeszów no chance. The score did not change before the break, although the visitors had one dangerous opportunity. Fortunately, goalkeeper Bartosz Bochnia was alert and confidently caught the ball. Despite BKS’s clear superiority, the team played chaotically and was very ineffective.
In the 54th minute, the hosts scored a second goal. Łukasz Filipiak took the free kick. The goalkeeper from Krzeszów could only watch the ball go in, and it was 2–0. In the 65th minute, Łukasz Filipiak scored again to make it 3–0 for BKS. The Bolesławiec side’s victory could have been more emphatic, but on that day our players were badly off target. Our team still have a third-round Polish Regional Cup match to play. On 11 November at 1:00 p.m., BKS will face the local LZS in Brzeźnik.
