Today we launched a third camera showing a view of the magnificent Bolesławiec viaduct. In addition to the 1846 structure, a section of the bypass and a skatepark can also be seen. Two other cameras are also available on our website. One transmits a view of Bolesławiec’s market square, while the other shows the altar in the Marian Sanctuary. All the cameras are available in the left-hand column of our website.
The colours in the image vary depending on the time of day and the sunlight. Sometimes we have a fairytale setting (as in the market-square image), while at other times it is grey (as in the viaduct image). It is worth checking often, because you may come across a truly beautiful view.
The cameras were launched on the initiative of the editor-in-chief of the portal and newspaper, Krzysztof Gwizdała. “We are a modern medium and the first to introduce various innovations to Bolesławiec. I wanted to show the most attractive places our city has to offer. We can be proud to show the market square to friends from other cities or from abroad,” says Krzysztof Gwizdała. “We are now looking for sponsors for live broadcasts, because for now we are showing images taken every two minutes. To show moving images to several people at the same time, we need an additional special server, and that costs money,” adds Krzysztof Gwizdała.
The cameras operate thanks to the help and kindness of Reverend Prelate Dr Andrzej Jarosiewicz of the Bolesławiec Marian Sanctuary, as well as the president, Józef Król, and the employees of the Water Supply and Sewerage Company in Bolesławiec.
Images from the cameras can be viewed thanks to three sponsors: “Bolesławianka” Artistic Ceramics Vena Sp. z o.o., the Water Supply and Sewerage Company in Bolesławiec Sp. z o.o., and the “Bolesławiec” Ceramic Works Sp. z o.o.
