On Sunday, October 16, the “Autumn 2011” car rally was held in Zgorzelec. It was the sixth round of the Jelenia Góra championship and the second round of the Zgorzelec championship. The event was organized by Automobilklub Zagłębie Turoszowskie. Thirty-one crews took part in the competition.
The winners in the individual classes were:
- Marcin Kmiołek with co-driver Krzysztof Krupa – class 1
- Jacek Matuchna with co-driver Marta Matuszczyk – class 2
- Piotr Czypionka with co-driver Grzegorz Gruszczyński – class 3
- Maciej Jary with co-driver Tomasz Zołyniak – class 4
Competitors from the Polish championship also took part as guests: Arkadiusz Urbanowicz with co-driver Adam Jaros. The BMW M3 team spectacularly won the guest class. The Bolesławiec-based team Patryk i Wiola Epnerowie (Fiat Cinquecento Sporting) had also planned to participate in the rally. Unfortunately, technical problems forced the Bolesławiec competitors to withdraw from the event.
