Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji Dolina Bobru is carrying out work related to the expansion of the transit water supply network in the area of Generała Augusta Emila Fieldorfa “Nila” and Zabobrze streets in Bolesławiec.
As part of the project, the water main connecting the Rakowice Water Treatment Plant with the left-bank part of the city will be restored. The project involves constructing a network of PE315 polyethylene pipes with a total length of 1,000 metres.
Work using specialist methods
The investment includes work using two methods: relining, meaning the renovation of an existing pipeline by inserting a new pipe into it, and directional drilling. These technologies make it possible to carry out work related to the construction and restoration of underground infrastructure.
According to PWiK Dolina Bobru, the expansion is intended to increase the capacity of the existing water distribution system. This should improve the security of supplies both for the left-bank part of Bolesławiec and for towns located within Bolesławiec municipality.
Investment worth more than PLN 2.4 million
The contractor for the project is ZISBD WROCŁAW Systemy Renowacji Rurociągów sp. z o.o. of Wrocław. The total value of the investment is PLN 2,445,926.34.
According to the schedule, the work is to be completed by 22 December 2026.
