The incident occurred in the middle of the night in the Nowogrodziec municipality. It was then that the 25-year-old decided to learn to drive a car, despite being under the influence of alcohol.
The car drove into a ditch. Police intervened
While driving, the woman lost control of the vehicle and veered into a roadside ditch. Officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters were dispatched to the scene.
A breathalyser test showed that the 25-year-old had approximately 1.5‰ of alcohol in her system. The woman was detained by police officers.
What does the 25-year-old face?
The resident of Bolesławiec County will be held accountable for driving a car while intoxicated. This type of offence is punishable by up to 3 years in prison, a driving ban and financial penalties.
The case will ultimately be heard in court.
