A dramatic incident occurred on Friday morning at a construction site in the Lwówek Śląski municipality. A 50-year-old man working there suddenly lost consciousness. His colleagues rushed to help and immediately notified the emergency services.
The fire service, a medical rescue team and a patrol from the Lwówek Śląski police were dispatched to the scene.
A fight for the man's life was underway. The officers took over the cardiopulmonary resuscitation and continued the rescue efforts until the paramedics arrived.
Unfortunately, despite the resuscitation, the 50-year-old man could not be saved. The doctor who arrived at the scene pronounced the resident of Lwówek County dead.
The police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the 50-year-old man's death. An investigative team and a forensic technician worked at the scene. The prosecutor was also informed of the incident. On the prosecutor's orders, the deceased man's body was secured. An autopsy will be carried out.
