The incident took place on September 12 in the zone in Osła. Another fire broke out there. (Firefighters from Gromadka were dispatched to the incident at 3:05 p.m.)

As the firefighters reported, their actions were primarily aimed at containing and extinguishing the fire and securing the area.

This was not the first fire to occur recently in the economic zone in Osła.

Large fire at the end of August

A considerably more serious fire took place there on August 25. The fire broke out in a storage yard for timber raw material on the premises of one of the facilities.

The fire engulfed a pile of timber raw material approximately 5 meters high and covering around 1,430 square meters. Fifty firefighters and 20 fire engines took part in the operation, which was led by the deputy commander of the Bolesławiec County State Fire Service.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
