On September 10, 2026, before 5:00 p.m., emergency services received a report of a fire at a single-family building on Leśna Street in Bolesławiec. The fire broke out at a property located at the intersection of Leśna and Śluzowa streets, near the former Rulimpex bakery.
According to preliminary findings, the fire broke out before 5:00 p.m. and engulfed the building’s attic. Smoke was coming from the place where the roof meets the wall.
Firefighters’ operation was hampered by trees and shrubs growing nearby, which had grown so extensively that they restricted access to the property and the ability to conduct firefighting operations.
Firefighters immediately began rescue and firefighting operations. Despite the difficult conditions, no one was injured.
Six fire service units fought the blaze. Police, a medical rescue team and the emergency power service were also present at the scene.
