Among other things, the project includes renovating the surfaces of both streets, modernizing the existing bays, verges and access roads, as well as improving drainage and replacing inlet grates. The tops of underground utility structures will also be renovated.
The project will also include modernizing the street lighting by replacing cable lines and restoring greenery. Once the work is completed, new vertical and horizontal road markings will be installed.
Another important element of the project will be the construction of a water supply network together with service connections. This means that the project will combine the modernization of road infrastructure with the reconstruction of the water supply network.
The work is being carried out jointly by the Municipality of Bolesławiec and Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji „Dolina Bobru” under an agreement that has been concluded. The contractor for the project is ZIB ELTOR from Lubań.
The value of the agreement is PLN 1.86 million. According to the schedule, the work is to be completed at the end of November 2026.
