The District Prosecutor’s Office in Kamienna Góra has filed an indictment with the District Court in Jelenia Góra against a 23-year-old resident of Kamienna Góra. The man will face a series of alleged offenses, including attempted infliction of grievous bodily harm, assault, making criminal threats and property damage.

The most serious incident described in the indictment took place on May 27, 2026. The 32-year-old victim came to his former partner’s apartment to establish arrangements for contact with their three children. The woman’s current husband was in the apartment at the time.

An argument broke out between the men. The reason? The accused’s jealousy of his ex-partner.

Investigators determined that the 23-year-old stabbed the 32-year-old three times: in the abdominal area, the left forearm and the left thigh.

The victim suffered bodily injuries resulting in a health disorder lasting more than seven days. According to the prosecutor’s office, the blows also exposed him to an immediate risk of loss of life or serious bodily harm.

However, this was not the only violence-related charge brought against the 23-year-old.

He kicked a man in the head

The earlier incident took place on January 1, 2026, in Kamienna Góra. During an argument, the accused allegedly kicked another man in the head several times.

In this case, the victim suffered bodily injuries resulting in a health disorder lasting less than seven days.

The prosecutor’s office also accuses the 23-year-old of an offense committed on March 14, 2026. On that day, the man allegedly threatened to kill his mother by holding a knife to her neck. What is more, the accused kicked chairs, which struck the woman and caused her to fall. The victim suffered swelling to the back of her head.

Damaged façade and phone

The list of charges also includes property damage. On March 20, 2026, in Kamienna Góra, the accused allegedly painted an offensive inscription on the façade of one of the walls of a building on Mostowa Street, using an unknown substance.

As a result, the owner suffered damage estimated at approximately PLN 2,000.

Another incident allegedly occurred on April 23. During an argument, the 23-year-old snatched a mobile phone from the hand of the underage victim and then threw the device to the ground. The damage was valued at PLN 2,300.

He did not admit to the charges

The 23-year-old resident of Kamienna Góra did not admit to committing the alleged offenses. He gave an explanation.

For the acts with which he has been charged, he faces a sentence of 3 to 20 years in prison. The man has previously been convicted.

The District Court in Jelenia Góra will decide on his criminal liability.
