The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 14, in Gierałtów (Nowogrodziec municipality). After 2 p.m., two cars collided. The driver of the Ford Mondeo, a 21-year-old man from Bolesławiec, crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into a Ford Galaxy that was traveling correctly. The Mondeo bounced off the Galaxy and crashed into the fence of one of the properties alongside the road.
Two people were injured in the accident: the driver and passenger of the Mondeo. Both were taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. As we managed to establish, the injured people have already been discharged and sent home. The police are investigating the cause of the collision.

The driver of the Ford Mondeo was sober. He was fined PLN 500.
