The construction of one of the most eagerly awaited recreational investments in Bolesławiec is beginning. Bolesławiec City Hall has handed over to the contractor the construction site for the second stage of development of the Water and Sports Centre at 24 Spacerowa Street, whose key feature will be a modern complex of water slides.

TAMEX Obiekty Sportowe of Warsaw is responsible for carrying out the investment. Preparatory work will begin in the coming days, followed by construction of the new complex with an impressive 12-metre launch tower.

The project provides for seven slides of varying types. They will include Kamikaze, Wahadło, Cebula, Turbo, Szyszka and Racer, which will have two lanes allowing two people to slide and compete simultaneously.

However, the scope of the investment is not limited solely to new water attractions. The project will also include the necessary technical infrastructure, new surfaces, a pool beach, a foot-rinsing pool, fencing, greenery plantings and street furniture.

According to the schedule, the slide complex is to be opened by 30 April 2027. Completion of the entire second stage of the Water and Sports Centre expansion is planned for January 2028.

The value of the construction works related to the second stage of the investment is PLN 45,967,325.23. Once the work is complete, the Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street will gain one of the most extensive water-attraction zones in the region, significantly expanding the recreational offer for residents and visitors to Bolesławiec.
