Coliform bacteria have appeared in the water, although it is not known where they came from. “The contamination was detected in water from the Nowogrodziec intake, but we can supply the network via the intake in Parzyce, where the water is good,” says Jacek Ruchała, head of Hydro-Tech. “We are already supplying good water from Parzyce, but until we receive official confirmation that the water in the network is no longer contaminated, we must assume that it is still not fit for drinking. The test results should reach us on Monday.”
