The declarations present the councillors’ assets as at the end of 2025. They show that the financial situations of the members of the Bolesławiec City Council vary considerably.
Some councillors declared several properties and savings amounting to hundreds of thousands of złotys. Others have only small amounts in their accounts or did not declare any savings at all.

Income comes from many sources
The declarations show that employment income and councillor’s allowances are often not the only sources of money. Councillors earn income, among other things, from business activity, pensions, renting out apartments and garages, civil-law contracts, serving on supervisory boards and holding shares in companies. The amounts cannot always be compared directly. Some declarations list income, meaning the amount after deducting costs, while others also list revenue. Some money and properties also constitute the spouses’ joint assets.
The asset declarations are therefore not a ready-made ranking of the wealthiest councillors. They do, however, show the scale of the assets held, the sources of income and the business connections of people making decisions concerning the city.
