For the Bolesławiec unit, this means further staffing reinforcement. After completing their basic training, the new officers will be able to support activities related to the safety of residents of the town and county.
Strong interest in serving
The Lower Silesian Police emphasize that interest in a career as a police officer remains very high. Since the beginning of 2026, as many as 401 people have already joined the Lower Silesian garrison.
This is one of the highest figures in recent years and a clear sign that more and more residents of the region are deciding to tie their professional future to the service responsible for public safety.
What is the path to wearing a police uniform?
Candidates who want to become police officers must complete a multi-stage qualification procedure. It includes:

Only after successfully completing all stages are candidates accepted into service and sent for basic training preparing them to perform the duties of a police officer.
