On Tuesday, 23 August, between 12:00 and 23:00, police officers from Bolesławiec carried out Operation “Ring”. Twelve police cars and two motorcycles took to the roads of our county (20 uniformed officers took part in the operation).
The officers checked 189 vehicles. They seized 21 registration certificates (due to the poor technical condition of the vehicles) and issued 141 fines (including 80 for speeding). In addition, the police apprehended a driver who was banned from driving motor vehicles.
The operation aims to improve the safety of road users. Police officers from Jelenia Góra, Zgorzelec, Luban, Kamienna Góra, Lwówek Śląski and Legnica also took part in the operation.
