The incident took place in Bolesławiec County. Officers detained a 32-year-old Ukrainian national who was riding a motorcycle despite a valid ban on driving any motor vehicles.

The police established that the ban had been imposed by the District Court in Kluczbork and remains in force until October 2026. Despite the restrictions resulting from the verdict, the man once again decided to get behind the handlebars.

After his detention, the motorcycle was towed away, and officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn carried out the necessary procedural activities. The detainee was then brought before the District Court in Bolesławiec.

The case was heard under an expedited procedure. The court found the 32-year-old guilty of failing to comply with the previously imposed ban and, among other penalties, imposed a lifetime ban on driving any motor vehicles.

Additionally, the man was ordered to pay PLN 10,000 to the Fund for Assistance to Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance.

After the proceedings were completed, the Ukrainian national was handed over to Border Guard officers in Zgorzelec. The services are to take further steps aimed at issuing a decision obliging him to leave the territory of the Republic of Poland.
