On Saturday (20 August), BKS hosted the newly promoted Piast Wykroty. The match began with attacks from the Bolesławiec side. Marek Kumoś and BKS debutant Wojciech Olszowiak shot at the visitors’ goal, but their efforts were inaccurate. In the 13th minute, after a corner taken by Łukasz Filipiak, Błażej Rajchel rose highest to the ball and headed past the Piast goalkeeper. The visitors had their chance in the 15th minute, but Łukasz Majka missed with only the goalkeeper in front of him. Two minutes later, Olszowiak unleashed a powerful shot at the Wykroty goal, but the ball flew just over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, after a foul on a Piast player, the referee awarded a free kick. The visitors equalized with a shot by Grzegorz Roman. A few minutes later, Ariel Sworacki produced a powerful strike. The visitors’ goalkeeper managed with difficulty to tip the ball heading under the crossbar. Conceding the goal motivated BKS. In the 38th minute, Błażej Rajchel scored his second header. This time, Marek Kumoś provided the cross. In the 41st minute, Marcin Ciliński made the first substitution. Łukasz Rudyk, returning to our team, came on for Łukasz Graczyk. Łukasz and Patryk Kubik joined BKS after Twardy Świętoszów withdrew from the competition. Despite BKS’s visible advantage, the score remained 2–1 for our team at halftime.

After the break, BKS continued to attack and had several excellent chances to extend its lead. In the 51st minute, Marek Kumoś shot at Dominik Szydlarski’s goal, but the Piast goalkeeper was in position. Łukasz Rudyk also failed to take advantage of two good opportunities. Wojciech Olszowiak could not find his shooting form either. BKS’s new striker wasted several excellent chances. In the 67th minute, BKS goalkeeper Rafał Mazur suffered an injury. Bartosz Bochnia came on in his place. In the 73rd minute, it was already 3–1 for the Bolesławiec side. Wojciech Olszowiak ended his scoring drought. The score did not change before the final whistle. The size of Piast Wykroty’s defeat was determined by the good performance of the visiting goalkeeper. Szydlarski saved several powerful shots. This does not excuse the BKS players, who should have converted 100% chances. BKS were clearly the better team. They kept possession longer, played faster and with better technique, and had far more scoring opportunities than the visitors. Ariel Sworacki performed well against Piast. The scorer of two goals, Błażej Rajchel, also showed good finishing ability. On Wednesday (24 August), BKS will face Leśnik Osiecznica away.
