These types of projects are attracting considerable interest from families with children, young people, and people seeking active outdoor recreation. Bolesławiec is also joining the group of local governments interested in carrying out such an initiative.

According to the city’s plans, the sledding hill is to be built in Harcmistrz Hubert Bonin Park (formerly Waryński Park). There is space for it and the terrain conditions are favorable. The concept was presented at the May session of the city council. PLN 40,000 has been allocated for preparing the documentation.

The project envisages the use of modern technologies enabling the facility to be used safely throughout the year. The plan will specify detailed technical and functional solutions, as well as additional equipment that will enhance the project’s appeal and allow it to be used in a variety of ways.

Preparing the functional and utility program will be the first step toward implementing the project. If the investment is completed, Bolesławiec will gain a new recreational attraction that will complement the city’s offering of active leisure opportunities for residents and visitors.
