The next edition of the international “Innovation” competition is underway, aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises based in the Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion and at students of higher-education institutions in this Euroregion. The winners can expect attractive prizes, which will be awarded in three categories:

  • best innovation
  • best cross-border cooperation
  • best student innovation.

The winners of first place will receive €1,000 (students – €500). The second-place winners in the best student innovation category will receive €300 (third-place winners – €200). Companies that win the competition will be able to use the competition logo for one year. “Innovation is a very prestigious international award intended to support cross-border cooperation and raise the technological level of the economy in the Nysa Euroregion,” says Karol Stasik, head of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze, the main organizer of this year’s competition.

Entries may be submitted by October 12. The results will be announced during a gala to be held on December 1 at the Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra. More information can be found on the websites of BTG and best-innovation.com.

The event is organized by Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze in cooperation with the Regional Employers’ Association in Bolesławiec, the Lower Silesian Chamber of Crafts in Wrocław, the Bolesławiec District Office and Zakłady Ceramiczne “Bolesławiec”, which will fund the statuettes for the winners.
