The competition for young entrepreneurs is aimed at students of secondary schools. This year, it is being held for the second time. As in the previous edition, its co-organisers are Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze and Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne.
The interviews before a committee made up of business practitioners are intended to identify any shortcomings in the students’ projects. During the interview, each candidate for entrepreneur can expand on the vision behind their idea.
The competition received 37 individual and group entries. In total, 60 people took part. Among the business ideas, the largest number involved service and commercial companies from a wide variety of sectors. As last year, few ideas concerned manufacturing activity.
The competition organisers acknowledge that the second edition shows a higher level both in terms of substance and in the way the prepared projects are presented.
The main financial prize in the competition is PLN 750. The second and third prizes are PLN 500 and PLN 250, respectively. The winners will also receive commemorative statuettes of “Young Entrepreneurs”.
The results will be announced and the prizes presented on Saturday at the Stary Theatre at 3:00 p.m.
Boleslawiec.org is one of the competition’s media patrons.
