From July 23 to August 5, a sports camp was held in Puck (Pomeranian Voivodeship), attended by taekwondo athletes from UKS Ilyo Bolesławiec. The classes were led by Korean coaches. In addition to training, the young athletes from Bolesławiec had the opportunity to take part in workshops devoted to the culture and customs of Korea.
At the same time, Kamil Serafin, a three-time national champion, was at the Polish national team’s training camp in Borne Sulinowo, preparing for the European Junior Olympic Taekwondo Championships, which will take place in October this year in Cyprus.
In February last year, taekwondo athletes from Korea visited Bolesławiec (see our article: “Korean Taekwondo Coaches in Bolesławiec!”).
