Both teams are just one step away from success in their respective leagues – Górnik Polkowice are second in the Betclic III League, while

This very opportunity for both teams to earn promotion forced a change to the schedule. If the final had been played on the original date of 10 June, players from both clubs would have had to take to the pitch in promotion playoff matches just one day later. Hence the decision to change the date: fans will watch the grand final already this Wednesday, 27 May, at 5:00 p.m..

Admission to the match will be free, and stadium announcements will be made bilingually, in Polish and English. This is due to the proximity of military units where NATO contingents are stationed. In their free time, their soldiers and civilian employees are happy to take part in local cultural and sporting life.

We have good news for fans planning to watch the final live – the match can be reached by Koleje Dolnośląskie train. The railway station is just a 15-minute walk from the stadium in Bolesławiec.

The winner of this clash – in addition to a financial prize – will earn the right to compete in the nationwide STS Polish Cup next season. The road to the top is open, as shown by last year’s winner from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Zawisza Bydgoszcz, who reached the semi-final this year, narrowly missing out on a place in the grand final at PGE Narodowy.

How far will the Lower Silesian winner go, and who will it be? We will find out soon!
