Thirteen artists from Poland, Ukraine, the USA, Germany and Finland arrived in Bolesławiec today. For an entire month, they will work at three local ceramic factories. This year’s edition of the International Ceramics and Sculpture Symposium will open with a vernissage of works by Karina Marusińska.
All the artists will present their work during evening meetings at the International Ceramics Centre. The symposium participants will also take part in the 17th Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival. A special happening with the participation of the artists and Bolesławiec residents will be held on the escarpment in the Market Square (21 August). The symposium will conclude with a vernissage of the exhibition by dr hab. Mirosław Kociński, “Ceramic Textures”.
