After arriving at the scene, firefighters determined that two passenger cars had collided. During the initial phase of operations, rescuers secured the accident scene and provided qualified first aid to three injured people. After the medical rescue teams arrived, the victims were handed over to the care of medical personnel.
The firefighters then disconnected the power supply in the vehicles, shut off the LPG system valve, and secured operating fluids spilled on the roadway. The county road was completely blocked for the duration of the operations. Fire service units from Złotoryja, Lwówek Śląski, Nowa Wieś Grodziska and Sędzimirów, as well as three medical rescue teams and a police patrol, were present at the scene.
The circumstances and causes of the incident will be investigated by the Police.
