On April 27, the world of Senior Constable Katarzyna Job stopped in an instant. Our colleague from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica suffered a very extensive stroke.
36 years old. A mother. A police officer. A woman full of life, kindness and smiles.
The police officer has been serving in the Patrol and Intervention Department for 3 years. Her colleagues write about her: “Always the first to help. Always wherever someone needed support. She never passed by human suffering indifferently. (…) Today, she herself needs help.

What is most moving, however, is that Kasia’s life was saved by her 9-year-old son Filip. When his mother suffered a stroke, he did not panic. He was the one who called for help.

Not long ago, Kasia was training for a half-marathon. Today, she is fighting for something much more important—for the ability to live independently, for a return to health, and to be able to hug her son again. A long and very costly rehabilitation lies ahead of her. It is the only chance for Filip to get his mother back.
