The moment of the collision was recorded by a camera. The footage shows a line of cars traveling along Asnyka Street. After passing the pedestrian crossing, the cars gradually began to stop near the ibis hotel. The reason was a car pulling out of a parking lot.
The footage shows that one of the drivers failed to brake in time and hit the rear of the vehicle in front. The force of the impact caused that vehicle to move and it probably also struck the rear of the red car stopped in front of it.
Immediately after the incident, the drivers moved onto the parking lot in front of Forum cinema. Emergency services arrived at the scene: a medical rescue team and firefighters. Preliminary information indicates that no one was injured.
