On 10 May, the 1st Round of the Polish Motorcycle Gymkhana Championship took place in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Paweł Jasiński, representing Bolesławiec, performed very well in the competition and took second place in the contenders’ group.
This is another significant success for the competitor, who has been actively working for more than a dozen years to popularize gymkhana and motorsport in the broadest sense in Bolesławiec and the region.
Motorcycle gymkhana is a discipline requiring extraordinary precision, reflexes and complete control over the motorcycle. Competitors race on specially prepared courses made up of tight turns, slaloms and technical obstacles, where maximum speed is not what matters, but rather accuracy and smoothness of the run.
The sport is becoming increasingly popular in Poland and attracts both experienced motorcyclists and people beginning their adventure with riding.
Paweł Jasiński’s performance in Gorzów Wielkopolski shows that systematic training and years of experience translate into strong sporting results. Winning a podium place at national competitions is not only the competitor’s personal success, but also excellent promotion for Bolesławiec in the motorsport community.
More championship rounds lie ahead, and fans are already keeping their fingers crossed for the next successful starts by the representative of Bolesławiec.
