The Lower Silesian Polish Cup semifinal was played on Wednesday, 6 May, in Świętoszów. The visitors had the advantage from the start. Górnik controlled the game and enjoyed more possession, although Cement also had its chance when the ball struck the visitors’ goalpost. In one of Górnik’s attacks, the ball also hit the post of the hosts’ goal. At halftime, after goals by Jakub Rogalski and Szymon Skrzypczak, Górnik led 2–0.
At the beginning of the second half, the game became more even. Łukasz Sierpina took a dangerous shot at the visitors’ goal, but the goalkeeper from Polkowice was not caught off guard. In response, Mariusz Szuszkiewicz tried to threaten the hosts’ goal, but in this case too, the ball did not find its way into the net. Łukasz Sierpina and Karol Nikodem then had further chances.
Toward the end of the match, Cement players had more possession, but this did not result in any goals. One noteworthy move came late in the game, when the ball, following a shot by the hosts, struck the crossbar of Górnik’s goal. A Polkowice player, meanwhile, failed to take advantage of an opportunity with only the goalkeeper in front of him.
Górnik Polkowice defeated Cement Raciborowice 2–0 (2–0) and advanced to the provincial cup final.

In the provincial final in June, which will be played in Bolesławiec Górnik Polkowice will face the winner of the other semifinal, Lechia Dzierżoniów – Ślęza Wrocław, which will be held on 20 May in Dzierżoniów.
