Disturbing incidents occurred in Złotoryja at the beginning of April. Police officers arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of property damage. According to investigators’ findings, the perpetrator allegedly fired a pneumatic pistol toward buildings, including a school, as well as garbage sheds, causing extensive damage.

The case was handled by officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Złotoryja. Thanks to cooperation between departments and the efficient exchange of information, they quickly identified a suspect. He turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of the town.

The man was arrested, and during a search of his home, police officers found a pneumatic pistol and pellets which, investigators suspect, were used to commit the offenses. Total losses were estimated at approximately PLN 13,000.

The arrested man was charged with property damage. According to officers, he was unable to logically explain his behavior. His case will now be handled by the court – he faces up to 5 years in prison.

Police emphasize that the perpetrator was identified quickly thanks to effective cooperation among officers and their commitment to clarifying the case.
