In April, an agreement was signed for another road project entitled “Reconstruction of Saperska Street.” The project aims to significantly improve the comfort and safety of residents and users of the street. The work will be carried out by ABM Zgorzelec, and the contract is worth PLN 792,739. Completion of the works is planned for mid-October 2026.
The project includes the comprehensive modernization of the street—from the demolition of the existing pavement and associated infrastructure, through the construction of a new subbase, to the laying of a new bituminous surface. As part of the project, new concrete-paver sidewalks will also be built, green areas will be organized, and the whole area will be supplemented with new vertical and horizontal road markings.
The project covers the reconstruction of a 275.5-meter section of a municipal road. The 3.5- to 5.5-meter-wide carriageway will be adapted to a design speed of 30 km/h. The project will include 1,730 m² of new roadway surface and 470 m² of sidewalks, as well as driveways, edge strips and landscaping of green areas.
