Students competed in two age categories – younger and older – testing both their theoretical knowledge and practical road-use skills. The tasks included knowledge of road traffic regulations and riding a bicycle on a specially prepared obstacle course. The teams consisted of three to four people.
In the older age group, the winners were students from the school in Kraśnik Dolny. Second place went to Primary School No. 2 in Bolesławiec, while third place went to Primary School No. 4 in Bolesławiec. The individual winner was Wojtek from Kraśnik Dolny, who scored the most points and received the main prize – a bicycle.
In the younger category, the best team came from Primary School No. 4 in Bolesławiec. Second place went to the School and Preschool Complex in Brzeźnik, while third place went to Primary School No. 2 in Bolesławiec. The best female participant was Julia from Brzeźnik, who was also awarded a bicycle.
The aim of the competition was not only to reinforce road safety principles, but also to shape responsible attitudes among children and young people, particularly those who use bicycles and other two-wheeled vehicles.
The event was made possible through the support of local governments and private partners. Financial support was provided by Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, the rural Bolesławiec Municipality, and sponsors – Santander and Carrefour.
The organizers highlight the participants’ high level and congratulate all the teams on their commitment and knowledge.
