The Voskovy duo, authors and producers of the music for Poland’s currently most talked-about music video, “Diss na raka,” come from Bolesławiec. Patryk Majewski and Filip Libner supported in this way the exceptional project of the Cancer Fighters Foundation, which helps children with cancer face the disease.
The word “diss” comes from English and means a lack of respect. It also refers to a piece of music, most often rap, or a speech criticizing or mocking another person, essentially another artist. In this case, children with cancer diss the disease itself.
Cancer Fighters is a nationwide foundation for people with cancer: adults and children, and even newborns. The Foundation provides financial, psychological and organizational assistance.
