The incident took place during the night of July 9–10 in Bolesławiec. The 31-year-old called a taxi. After traveling several hundred meters, the man announced that he would not pay the taxi driver for the ride because he had waited too long for the car to arrive. The taxi driver stopped the vehicle and asked the man to leave. The enraged 31-year-old then began kicking the car door and smashed the side window with his hand. After breaking the window, the man fled. The taxi driver notified the police, who detained the hooligan. The man was taken into police custody. The 31-year-old will stand trial for property damage. He faces up to five years in prison.
