On Saturday, 9 July, after dark, Bolesławiec’s Market Square was transformed into a huge stage. This was all thanks to the performance “Woman and Man, or the Birth of the Spirit”. The crowds of spectators watched a story about the love of two young people—a story that changed their lives. The spectacular performance attracted attention with its unusual staging: the characters were made up as marionettes controlled by strings.
