The school’s anniversary celebrations, combined with an alumni reunion, will be held on Saturday, 15 October 2011. The official ceremony will take place in the Forum cinema hall (1c J. Piłsudskiego Square). In the afternoon, there will be time for individual class reunions in the school building on Tyrankiewiczów Street. An alumni ball will be held in the school’s sports hall in the evening.
On Sunday, Mass will be celebrated at the Sanctuary under the invocation of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Kościelna Street). After Mass, flowers will be laid on the graves of teachers from the First Secondary School (the Municipal Cemetery on Śluzowa Street).
The organizers warmly invite former students and teachers of the Władysław Broniewski First Secondary School and the School for Working People, formerly part of the School Complex. They also hope that this special anniversary will encourage reflection, taking stock and recollection.
The Istotne informacje portal and newspaper are the honorary patrons of the event.
