The incident occurred on March 31, at around 11:00 a.m., in Zebrzydowa. – I was driving from the direction of Zgorzelec – reports a Reader.
Suddenly, the man noticed a Volvo rolling down the hill.
The person who reported the incident thought that the driver of the passenger car had fainted. As it turned out, however, he had simply failed to apply the handbrake.
(As the Reader informed us, the man from the Volvo ran after his car a moment later, presumably thinking that someone was trying to steal it).
Fortunately, the car crossed the road and… stopped in the middle of the square.
No one was hurt. As the Reader concludes, it was fortunate that nothing larger was driving along there at the time. Because, as he adds, trucks like to speed along that road.
