This year’s Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival will begin on 17 August (Wednesday) with the “Ceramic Whirlwind” ceramics fair.
On Friday evening, the “Ceramics in Fire” Ceramic Parade will pass through the city streets. The most interestingly dressed individuals and groups will be selected during the parade. All you need to do is prepare a costume inspired by Bolesławiec ceramics (clothing, makeup, headwear and props reflecting the colours and shapes of Bolesławiec ceramics).
The Ceramic Animation Town, combined with a Presentation by Young Ceramists, will also open on Friday. Mateusz Grobelny will fire his original ceramic kiln, the “Chariot of Fire”. The star of the day will be the group “happysad”, which plays alternative rock.
Saturday’s programme includes performances of arias from operettas and musicals. The main stage will feature the bands “Otava Yo”, “Enej” and “T.Love”. A screening under the stars is planned for midnight.
Sunday’s programme includes a presentation of the longest table set with ceramic tableware, as well as happenings and visual and artistic activities. The small stage will feature a blues band from Valecorsa, the Poznań Accordion Quintet, Majka Jeżowska as well as “Good Band” and “Sumptuastic”; the star will be Ania Dąbrowska.
