The community of I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bolesławiec invites alumni, former teachers and school staff to the celebrations marking the school’s 80th anniversary. The jubilee, combined with an alumni reunion, is scheduled for October 3 and 4.
The organizers emphasize that the event is intended above all to provide an opportunity for many generations of people connected with the high school to meet. For some, it will be a return to fond memories—school friendships, first successes or teachers who played an important role in their lives. For others, it may also be a moment to reflect on difficult experiences with teachers.
Over the course of eight decades, thousands of students have passed through the school’s doors. Each of them took away their own memories and stories, which—as the organizers hope—will be possible to bring back during the jubilee gathering.
A commemorative publication is also being prepared as part of the jubilee, in cooperation with Muzeum Ceramiki w Bolesławcu. Exhibitions and other accompanying events are also planned.
The school announces that a special section will be launched on its website in May, allowing people to register for the jubilee and alumni reunion.
The organizers encourage everyone connected with I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bolesławiec to follow information about preparations for the event now and consider attending the October gathering. Questions can be directed to the school by phone or email.
