5 March 2026 at the Councilors’ Hall in Bolesławiec, a formal contract-signing ceremony was held concerning the implementation of the second stage of the investment project titled “Development of the Water and Sports Center at 24 Spacerowa Street in Bolesławiec.” The document was signed by the city’s mayor Piotr Roman and Robert Burzycki – vice president and managing director of TAMEX Obiekty Sportowe S.A., the company that will carry out the project.

The value of the contract for the construction works is PLN 45,967,325.23.

The investment will be divided into two stages:
• stage II.A – construction of the complete water-slide complex, including its launch and commissioning – by 30 April 2027,
• stage II.B – completion of the remaining development works at the Center – by January 2028.

What will be built?

The contract includes, among other things:
• construction of two full-size football pitches with artificial turf, including one meeting the requirements for third-league matches,
• construction of an event shelter for sports and cultural events,
• construction of changing-room, social and technical facilities for the pitches and shelter,
• construction of a technical and storage building,
• construction of a water-slide complex with underground technical infrastructure,
• new parking areas, beach-volleyball courts, a multifunctional court and outdoor stands,
• space for food trucks, motorhomes and sanitary facilities,
• a playground, access roads, pedestrian paths and street-furniture elements,
• renovation of existing facilities, including the grill shelter, amphitheater, courts and technical buildings,
• necessary demolition works and fencing of the entire site.

The expanded complex will feature seven water slides designed for users aged 8 and over and taller than 120 cm. Its central feature will be a three-level launch tower, with heights of 6, 9 and 12 meters, from which slides of varying character will run – from family and recreational rides to dynamic, extreme courses.

They will include the spectacular “Szyszka,” the impressive “Wahadło” and “Cebula,” the dual-track “Racer,” a steep “Kamikaze”-type slide and the fast, enclosed “Turbo” course. Each attraction has been designed with safety, comfort and a maximum dose of water-based fun in mind.
