On Saturday, residents of our town enjoyed Balkan music. The star of the evening was Boban i Marko Marković Orchestra – for 20 years, Serbia’s best brass orchestra, known, among other things, for appearing in Emir Kusturica’s films “Underground” and “Arizona Dream”. A volcano of energy – this is the shortest way to describe its performance. The group’s leaders – Boban i Marko Marković – attracted particular attention. Excellent brass sound, very good rapport with the audience and lively music – all this made for an outstanding concert by the Orchestra from Serbia.
Today, Budka Suflera, a legend of Polish rock, will perform at Piłsudski Square. The band has prepared a surprise for the residents of Bolesławiec. During Sunday’s concert marking the Days of Bolesławiec, the following will appear on stage: Izabela Trojanowska and Felicjan Andrzejczak. Trojanowska’s collaboration with Budka Suflera produced hits such as “Wszystko czego dziś chcę” and “Tyle samo prawd, ile kłamstw”. Felicjan Andrzejczak, meanwhile, recorded the evergreen songs “Jolka, Jolka pamiętasz…” and “Noc komety” with the band. The concert starts at 9:30 p.m..
