The Municipality of Nowogrodziec has secured funding for an investment project involving the modernization of the “Moje Boisko – Orlik 2012” sports complex. The investment includes renovating the changing-room and sanitary facilities, which have served residents, students and local sports clubs for years.

What is the scope and purpose of the investment?

The project involves modernizing the sanitary and changing-room facilities operating at the “Orlik 2012” sports complex, located in the area of Asnyka Street and Mickiewicza Street in Nowogrodziec.

The investment aims to:

  • improve conditions for using the sports infrastructure,
  • raise the sanitary and functional standard of the facility,
  • increase user comfort, including for children and school students,
  • adapt the facilities to current technical and hygiene requirements.

Modernization is necessary because the existing facility is significantly worn out—the current sanitary container has dampness, mold and damage to the roof structure, making further use impossible.

What will be done?

The design documentation provides for comprehensive investment works, including in particular:

  • disconnecting and securing the existing installations,
  • dismantling the existing sanitary container,
  • preparing and constructing a new foundation,
  • installing a prefabricated sanitary and changing-room container,
  • connecting electrical, water and sewage, and monitoring systems,
  • installing lighting and technical systems,
  • relaying the concrete block paving around the facility and adapting access routes for people with disabilities.

The new facility will be equipped, among other things, with electrical systems, heating, ventilation, energy-efficient LED lighting and full sanitary facilities.

How much will it cost?

The total value of the investment is PLN 250,446.00.

When will the investment be completed?

The project is scheduled for completion by October 31, 2026.

Once the work is completed, the investment will be accepted and finally settled in accordance with the program’s applicable procedures.

The office summarizes:

Modernizing the “Orlik” facilities is another step toward developing the local sports infrastructure. The renovated facility will improve conditions for training sessions, school activities and sporting events, encouraging physical activity among residents of all ages.
