The incident occurred after 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Firefighters received a call about suspected carbon monoxide in one of the apartments at 30 Rynek Street.

At least two fire service units and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that carbon monoxide was present in the apartment—the firefighters’ detectors showed 150 ppm.

One person was taken to hospital after carbon monoxide poisoning.
