A reader informed us about the matter, saying that it had been difficult to wash in the cold water from the shower on Friday and Sunday. He added that the water in the large pool was also too cold.

“I don’t know what the actual water temperature in the pool was, but it certainly wasn’t 30 degrees C, the temperature shown on the main display,” the reader said. “My son’s lips turned blue after a few minutes of swimming.”

We asked the president of “Orka,” Robert Tomczyk, for an explanation. “It’s true, one of our pumps was broken,” Tomczyk said. “And when a large number of people were using the showers, there wasn’t enough hot water. The pump was repaired today.”

President Tomczyk also addressed the allegations that the pool water was too cold. “The water temperature in the pool is correct and is 27–28 degrees C,” Tomczyk said. “The problem may be that after using the jacuzzi, where the temperature is approximately 30 degrees C, people may feel the drop in temperature more strongly in the pool, which is three degrees colder.”

The reader also pointed out that the main display showing the water temperature reads 30 degrees C. President Tomczyk explained: “The display shows an incorrect temperature. We have already reported the fault to the company in Zielona Góra responsible for it.”

The new water park has sparked numerous controversies and is being closely watched by the residents of Bolesławiec. Those managing it will remain under scrutiny for some time. “The pool has only just begun operating and, of course, there are minor faults that we are working to eliminate on an ongoing basis, so that we can serve the residents as well as possible,” Robert Tomczyk reports.
